By the completion of this project, it will include Office, Medical, Restaurant, Retail, Residential and Entertainment. Something for everyone.

Honoring the past, moving into the future. H&O is one of the first purposefully built new construction Airbnb developments on Music Row. Seeking to reflect the history of its avenue, H&O pays homage to brothers Harold and Owen Bradley who are often credited with creating that Nashville sound that began in a Quonset Hut attached to a house they owned on 16th Avenue which eventually became known as “Music Row.”

Boutique and beautiful with just 46 residences, only a lucky few will enjoy the simple pleasures of owning, investing and staying where Nashville’s iconic music culture began!

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Largest Mass Timber Building in Tennessee

Paradym designed and developed the fourth building on this multi-building, mixed-use campus called the Atrium at Fountains. Scott Graby partnered with Paradym to create a unique atrium-anchored residential condominium. The project utilizes a mass timber superstructure provided by Binderholz, which is not only environmentally sustainable, but also creates beautiful exposed wood interiors.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

A Post-Tornado Rebuild for a Community Hub.

When a tornado struck Middle Tennessee in March 2020, Cross Point Church’s Nashville location suffered significant damage. When Paradym was selected to be the design team that would help with repairs, we knew we wanted to do more than just disaster restoration; we were inspired to help the church build back better.

Vision.

Cross Point Church has several campuses, so we collaborated with their creative lead to decide which existing brand elements to keep consistent and what was open to change. We wanted to explore what the space could be and use our broad design experience to bring in ideas that would add to its welcoming atmosphere. The rebuild would reconstruct the offices, conference rooms and children’s church area, and would add flex space, a daycare and a cafe.

Process.

Cross Point’s first task was to get the building cleaned up and the church running again. We had to prevent the structure from flooding and shield it from the elements, so construction and design were occurring simultaneously. In some places, we were able to turn the destruction into design, adding architectural elements that let in more natural light and turning the torn-out center of the building into an internal courtyard.

Execution.

Paradym was proud to help Cross Point Church recover and rebuild after the tornado. Our range of abilities allowed us to do more than disaster restoration or church architecture; we gave them state-of-the-art office space, a cozy cafe, and homey but highly functional flex space and daycare facilities. Because we took the time to understand their point of view, their purpose and the challenge before them, we could deliver plans that met their needs and exceeded their expectations.

TenEx Building

Mixed-Use + cross-fit gym + swimming pool + office

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Maximized Space for a Mixed-Use Property.

TenEx is a mixed-use building with a range of tenants. Half of the structure will be home to a Cross-Fit gym, and its neighbors will be a swim academy (with a large indoor pool, of course) and an office suite. The structure started out as a PEMB—a pre-engineered metal building—so it was truly a blank slate.

Vision.

Our client wanted to warm up TenEx’s PEMB framework with cool, contemporary design. Brick, wood and glass would give the new building a distinctive and modern but not overly industrial look.

Process.

Developing TenEx was also an exercise in space maximization, both inside and outside, and meeting water quality standards. Because the building took up most of the buildable acreage, rainwater filtration and collection options were limited, and Nolensville has particularly prudent requirements for water runoff.

Execution.

This project has been a true collaboration between Paradym, the developer, the building’s future tenants, engineers and the construction company. It’s currently under construction, and we’re happy to have this unique mixed-use center in our portfolio.

OFFICE TENANT IMPROVEMENT & BUILD-OUT

PROJECT OVERVIEW

A Collaborative Space for Tech Industry Professionals.

Saltworks, a Georgia-based application security consulting firm, was looking for a location in Middle Tennessee for their new development headquarters. They chose Paradym to create an industrial, contemporary space that will attract new hires from Tennessee’s largest university, Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).

The design offers industrial textural finishes using warm reclaimed wood, concrete and metals with pops of their corporate color. Paradym used dynamic ceilings and lighting to define different spaces within the open office.

Paradym strategically emphasized the top floor views by creating a corner living and game room, and centralized work café to anchor the departments and further reinforce their social corporate culture.

Vision.

The execs at Saltworks envisioned a modern industrial workspace with touches of their brand’s bright green and plenty of room for focused individual work, collaborative group sessions and an open common area/break room. Glass and concrete elements would bring the clean, open look they pictured, while neutral textiles and natural textures could provide team members with an inviting, inspiring work environment.

Process.

Because the office space was ready for buildout, Paradym went straight to work on space plans and mood boards. Saltworks stakeholders were particularly interested in the opportunities for space definition, so Paradym used 3D renderings and virtual reality to present options.

Execution.

No structural renovations were necessary in the brand-new building, but Paradym guided Saltworks through the development process with value engineering—choosing finishes and making other design decisions based on priority and budget.

Paradym was approached by a new Client moving into our Fountains at Gateway project. SteelSummit desired a new North American Corporate Headquarters. The new office build-out would host their C-Suite, HR and Accounting Department. The design needed to be sleek, modern and incorporate lots of glass.

Cool Springs/Franklin, TN

PROJECT OVERVIEW

An Eclectic and Inviting Wine Bar.

Vintage Vine 100 owner and resident sommelier Darlene Bailey Thompson wanted to create a singular space with an upscale atmosphere where she could introduce customers to the world’s best wines and serve them carefully selected small plates.

Vision.

Darlene sees wine-making as the intersection of farming, science and art—a combination of disciplines she holds dear. Bringing together modern, vintage and rustic elements would give Vintage Vine 100 an ambience that was both sophisticated and welcoming.

Process.

Mood boards were created to capture the feeling of high-end comfort Darlene was picturing. Lighting was particularly important, as Vintage Vine 100 would need to set the scene not only for cozy get-togethers but also wine tastings and wine appreciation classes. Paradym’s designers set out to maximize the wine bar’s _____ square feet, making the most of every cubic inch and filling every corner with elegance and charm.

Execution.

The building at 4051 Aspen Grove Drive was already under construction but not originally designed with a tenant in mind, allowing for owner/architect/contractor collaboration. Planning the space at that stage of development allowed for some custom-built details, including installing an intricate wood inlay design in the concrete floors and creating a back-bar display that stored at least 100 unique bottles of wine—fulfilling the promise found in the wine bar’s name. Efficiently mapped out rooftop and patio spaces resulted in ample—and Instagrammable—outdoor seating.

Creating a High-End Medi-Spa Experience.

Paradym designed and developed a sophisticated medi-spa space to bring Dr. Kattine’s vision for his clients to life. Home to Kattine Dermatology, Medling Plastic Surgery, U-Medispa and The Boutique, this two-story tenant build-out in the Fountains at Gateway building aimed to create a healthy and airy experience for patients through ample use of natural light throughout the space.
